 Moses was on his way to being a great trumpet player until Life cut across his path. Now, as he attempts to please his mother, his wife and his friend-- the loudest voice he hears is that of his horn. Full Length.

Karimah is an MFA graduate of Columbia University. Her most recent NYC production was Accept “Except” LGBT NY presented by the prolific Woodie King, Jr.’s New Federal Theatre in 2014. This play was also produced by the Faison Firehouse Theatre. Karimah is happy to be a Featured Playwright in the 6th POTPOURRI! World Women Works Series. This Second Look at the section of Accept "Except" Female NY, is the third play in the series Karimah is creating around The 13th Ammendment. She has been produced by Crossroads Theatre Company, North Carolina Black Repertory Theatre, the National Black Theatre, various universities, churches and community venues. We are honored to showcase her dynamic work with you!
